2. We'll update our records

Important Information

Adding Someone to Your Tenancy

If you want to add someone to your tenancy (e.g., a partner or spouse), you'll need our permission. Contact us to discuss this.

Removing Someone from Your Tenancy

If someone is leaving your household permanently, please let us know. If they're a joint tenant, special procedures apply.

Benefits and Housing Benefit

If your change affects your benefits, you must also inform:

• Your local council (for Housing Benefit)
• Department for Work and Pensions (for Universal Credit)

Tenancy Fraud

Failing to report changes or providing false information is tenancy fraud and could result in legal action and eviction.
