Disabled parking bays are reserved for Blue Badge holders only.

PRIVATE PARKING RULES - CAR PARK

To ensure fair, safe, and considerate use of the private residential car park, the following rules apply to all residents, their guests, and contractors.

1. Residents Only

• The car park is strictly private and reserved for residents only.
• Each flat/unit may park one vehicle in its designated space.
• No additional vehicles may use the premises unless prior written permission has been granted.
• As there are eight marked spaces, a maximum of eight resident vehicles may be present at any time.

2. Designated Parking Spaces

• Every resident has been allocated a specific parking space, marked with the corresponding flat/unit number.
• Residents must park only in their allocated bay and within the marked boundaries.
• Parking outside designated spaces - including in another resident's bay, turning areas, driveways, or access routes - is strictly prohibited and may lead to enforcement action.
• Vehicles must never cause obstruction or nuisance to other users of the estate.

3. Visitors, Contractors, and Deliveries

Visitors and hired contractors may use the car park under these conditions:

• Space must be available, and they must have consent from the resident they are visiting.
• All non-resident vehicles must display clearly visible contact information (name and phone number) on the dashboard or windshield.
• Non-resident parking is limited to working hours (Monday - Friday, 09:30 - 16:30) unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

4. Vehicle Condition and Safety

• All vehicles parked in the car park must be roadworthy, properly taxed, and insured.
• Any vehicle without a valid tax disc or in an unroadworthy condition may be treated as abandoned.
• In such cases, the vehicle may be removed and disposed of at the owner's expense.
• Drivers must consider their neighbours and drive quietly and safely within the parking area.

5. Enforcement and Penalties

Serious or repeated breaches of these rules - such as obstruction, parking outside your designated bay, or unauthorised use - may result in:

• Written warnings
• Temporary or permanent withdrawal of parking privileges
• Financial penalties for repeated non-compliance

Persistent obstruction may also be reported to the relevant authorities if it interferes with safety or resident access.

These rules are designed to ensure the car park remains safe, fair, and functional for all residents.

Abandoned vehicles are a nuisance and can attract antisocial behaviour.

What is an Abandoned Vehicle?

A vehicle may be considered abandoned if it:

• Has no valid tax or MOT
• Is in a poor condition
• Has been stationary for a long time
• Has flat tyres or is damaged
